We are pleased to announce that our Co-founder and Co-CEO Dr. Christy Lane has temporarily relocated to the Bay Area. Currently Christy, Vivametrica’s CFO, Haydn Lane, as well as co-founder Dr. Matt Smuck are all in Silicon Valley, a global hub for technology and innovation. Christy, who takes her second post as Visiting Professor at Stanford University is keen to build relationships and continue business development in the area.
Vivametrica is entering an exciting phase of growth as we are near the close of our current funding round. The company is at a stage of bringing product to market and poised to be a key piece in bringing innovation and change within the insurance industry. We are actively looking for forward-thinking insurers who want to get ahead of the curve.
With Vivametrica’s analytics and technology, we have built a digital solution for underwriting. Some of the pain-points Vivametrica’s solution address include changing customer expectations, serving large markets-of-scale at a reasonable cost, and incorporating physical activity data into insurance using scientifically valid models.
