Vivametrica Winner at TENET i2c Pitch Competition
Vivametrica was one of six teams chosen to pitch yesterday evening at the TENET i2c Innovation to Commercialization pitch competition. TENET i2c is a “Dragon’s Den” style pitch competition that awards up to $100K to a team to transition medical innovations into commercial products.
This is the second year that Vivametrica was a finalist at the pitches and after a disappointing round last year we are excited to be chosen as the top team this year. Since last year Vivametrica has made significant progress in the insurance industry and has recently wrapped up a pilot project in China with one of the world’s leading reinsurance groups and their direct insurance partner. This project included just under 200 participants and is a notable milestone for Vivametrica making inroads into the insurance industry, we will continue to work with these insurance groups in this region.
Vivametrica was awarded $97,000 as the prize-winner to help continue our efforts to bring our products and services to market. The prize money will be used to continue our app development including an android version, bolster our business development and initiate a strong sales and marketing process in efforts to launch our startup to the next level of growth.
We would like to thank the U of C Cumming School of Medicine and everyone involved with TENET i2c.
